Focus stealing

This morning I was steaming milk for a cappuccino when all of a sudden the toaster stole focus. Now my kitchen’s a mess and smells of burned milk. It’s lucky I wasn’t hurt. Just a few years ago, this sort of thing would have been considered completely unacceptable.

When will manufacturers learn that appliances should never steal focus?

Little Snitch looks very nice

I'm trying out the new beta of Little Snitch 2.0. The new version sports a much improved interface and an impressive network monitor window that lists the applications that are using your bandwidth, and the servers to which they are connecting. Very slick!
