Reinfeldt on file sharing

This morning, Fredrik Renfeldt was interviewed again on SVT1. He answered a question from a viewer who asked whether Reinfeldt agreed with recent changes to Swedish law that make some kinds of file sharing illegal.

I thought his answer was interesting. Reinfeldt replied he didn't feel comfortable criminalizing something that such a large portion of the population does, and that he thought other solutions should be investigated to ensure that the creators of media are compensated for their work.

I agree. Compulsory licensing works for radio. It would work online too.
